Abstract:
The Legno Veneto portal is a digital platform managed by the Treviso-Belluno Chamber of Commerce created to increase the marketing of wood by public bodies and private companies, owners and Italian and foreign forestry companies, favoring the meeting between supply and demand in a single web platform.
The portal, in addition to offering a space dedicated to auctions of wooded lots, is also a free notice board for the purchase and sale of products related to the supply chain, a container of news, rules and regulations useful for operators in the sector, as well as a list showcase of Veneto forestry companies.
The creation of this "virtual square" is one of the main objectives of the IT-FOR project for the establishment of a digital platform for the marketing of wood and was born thanks to the financing of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development for Veneto 2014-2020, REG. COM. 1305/2013 Art.35, D.G.R. 736 of 28.05.18, Measure 16 - Cooperation.
