La Forêt Bouge - A digital tool at the service of your forest
The development of the IT tool "La Forêt Bouge" is the result of the work and national will of the National Forest Property Center (CNPF).
La Forêt Bouge is the result of a wood mobilization project in Auvergne (PPMBA). To do this, in 2015, the CNPF Délégation Auvergne developed an Internet platform "Bois d´Auvergne" intended for owners and professionals in the forest-wood sector.
In view of the keen interest that this tool has aroused among users, the CNPF validated in 2015 the usefulness of adapting this platform to the entire metropolitan area, under the name La Forêt Bouge.
The project is thus jointly supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and the CNPF. The Ministry of Agriculture and ADEME funded part of the project; the CNPF providing the complement in self-financing.
The “La Forêt Bouge” website is a toolbox / service site for forest owners and forest-wood industry professionals.
The purpose of the La Forêt Bouge site is to promote contact and create links between private, economic or institutional players in the forestry world. It allows (them) to facilitate the procedures, the management of forests and the carrying out of silvicultural operations for owners and professionals by promoting the regrouping of land and / or management. Thus, the Forêt Bouge aims to bring together tools, which already exist on the Internet, in the same space, on a national scale.
One of the main objectives of this innovative tool is to advance the mobilization of timber in private forests by offering innovative services. In addition, this modern computer tool will be able to reach a new generation of forest owners and encourage them to boost their silvicultural practices.
On the La Forêt Bouge site, professionals and forest owners can create their account. This allows the user to access services more quickly in an adapted and individualized way. The rights to use the tool are limited depending on the type of account created.
It also contains news or popular documents that the public can consult at will.
