Abstract:

GISFOR (developed by Merkatu) is a software that means to monitor the forest process from the beginning (estimating wood volume, buying mounts, tree cutting…) until the wood is received by the processing industry, regulating the relation between different stakeholders in the process. Lot of stakeholders involved in this point of the forest sector are itinerant, and one key of the project is to focus it is important that the information they have is rapidly introduced in the software. The software needs to be installed in all the enterprises involved in the movement of the wood so the whole process can be controlled and know in what point it is.
