Abstract:

Gestfore is an online tool designed to be used by forest technicians to create management plans. Each plot in a forest surface has associated some attributes (species, age, medium diameter, medium height, pathology, cover percentage, edaphology, climate...). Gestfore helps to create and save management documents (technical plan for sustainable forest management, revision of old plans...) and associate them to each plot depending on the forest characteristics. This tool is used in a complementary way with Ebis. Funded by Basque Country Government and used by PECF certification in Basque Country.
