Sectorial diagnosis WOOD / FOREST 4.0 GALICIA (November, 2017)
Abstract:
Study for the detection and analysis of sectoral opportunities for Galician industrial companies in the field of Industry 4.0. Carried out by the Association of Technological Centers of Galicia (Atiga) and the centers that make up this association: National Association of Manufacturers of Canned Fish and Seafood-National Technical Center for the Conservation of Fishery Products (ANFACO-CECOPESCA), Research Association Metalúrgica del Noroeste (AIMEN), Galician Automotive Technology Center (CTAG), Galician Telecommunications Technology Center (GRADIANT), Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Technology Center Foundation (ENERGYLAB) and Galician Technological Institute (ITG). The main objective of the study is to carry out a diagnosis of the current technological level in the ten industrial sectors considered as strategic in Galicia by the different public reference plans based on their weight in the Galician economy in terms of GDP - Aeronautics, Agri-food and Bio, Automotive, Renewable Energies, Wood / Forestry, Metalworking, Naval, Natural Stone, Textile / Fashion, ICT -, identifying opportunities for improvement in the short and medium term, and thus allowing administrations to adapt their public policies to the needs of companies and sectors.
