Abstract:
The QUALIFYWOOD & FURNITURE project consists of a set of actions that contribute to the qualification of the woodworking and furniture industries at the levels of organisational and financial innovation, adequacy of human resources, differentiation and credibility of products and services through certification.
The project aims to increase the competitiveness of SMEs and the attractiveness and general image of the sector, namely:
1- The increase of the operational and technical maturity of SMEs through the continuous qualification of managers and employees, and the increased attractiveness of the sector to new talents;
2 - The provision of methodologies and practical guides with a view to entering certification schemes that confer commercial added value.
3 - The creation of working groups that bring together sector interests and promote the acquisition and sharing of knowledge.
